Removable batteries vs Non-removable Batteries

A very common question lurks in everyone's mind Removable batteries or Non-Removable Batteries which one is better. This post discuss the advantages and disadvantages of Removable and Non-Removable Batteries.

Removable Batteries

Smartphones with removable batteries are the ones which allows Users to easily remove the battery unit from the host phone at their ease. They can simply open the back panel and pull the battery safely.

Advantages:

  • Easy Restart option - Sometimes when the phone is not responding to any instruction then pulling out the battery and putting it back (also known as hard reset) is the simplest thing which come to our mind. When you switch on the device after this Device probably starts working normally.
  • Carrying additional battery -  Well now major people have power bank but keeping them aside. In a device where you can remove battery whenever you want you get an advantage of carrying a same battery. Having an additional battery is very useful you can use it whenever you phone battery died and swap the batteries and your battery is back to 100%. (Power bank can never be this fast :p)
  • Replacement - If you feel like your battery back up is not up to the mark or the battery is not working properly. You can replace your battery very easily.  Even you can replace it on your own.
Disadvantages:

  • Phone might get damaged by constant removal - Well, if you remove your battery from the device frequently theirs a chance that you might damage your device or your battery might get loosed up and won't fit properly.
  • Bulkier phones - In today's time everyone wants there phone to be light weigh but if you won't a phone which is light and you can remove it's battery than my friend this is quite difficult as manufactures have to leave much space so that removal of battery can be done easily without damaging any other part.
So, this was a quick discussion over merits and demerits of a device with Removable battery.
Now Let's talk about devices with Non-Removable batteries.

Non-Removable batteries

If you recently brought or used a smart phone launched within few months then you might have noticed you don't have any access to battery or you can't pull the back panel. Even if you can you won't be able to remove battery. these kind of devices come under the category of Non-Removable devices.

Advantages:

  • Design -  Because of this New smartphones have a Unibody design and are getting slimmer and slimmer. Which is attractive and look beautiful
  • Lesser damage to interior - As we can no longer access the interior of the Smartphone the risk of damaging the interior is also reduced. And chances of dust particles going inside the smartphone is also reduced.

Disadvantages:

  • Changing battery is Costlier and Expertise job - Company strictly instruct users not to try removing the battery all by themselves, because it requires expertise and tools which are not available commonly. And above this the cheaper replacement units available with local sellers are hard to find. The only option you would be left with is taking your phone to the company’s service center to get it changed.
  • NO Reset Shortcuts - Earlier users can plug out the battery and Give a Hard Reset to their devices but as we don't have access to battery anymore we have to depend upon Power button or a key combination to reset the device.

And the discussion ends here. Please comment what do you think which one better and why?

Online Battle against Terrorism

It is a matter of grave concern that many terrorist groups especially ISIS is trying to recruit people by change their mindset. And in past 2 years Internet giants with countries around the world are trying there best to solve this kind of problem  and believe me we can see the results.

The U.S govt. is claiming a win against Terrorism. saying terrorist group ISIS online influence like recruiting is declining.

Taking the battle online,U.S State department official says  terrorist group ISIS has seen a 45 percent drop in traffic on social networking sites in past 2 years.

At first the battle wasn't going as great rather it was a little shabby because of all the anti ISIS meme but good thing thing soon this practice was stopped. Instead of using English language to promote this campaign they used Arabic and We can all see the result.
According to the AP, the typical pro-ISIS account had roughly 1,500 followers back in 2014; those numbers have dwindled to roughly 300 followers since.

UFS - Successor to microSD cards

Universal Flash Storage (UFC)

In this changing world have you ever wondered if everything is changing whether this small microSD card will ever change. we usually think they will just increase storage space or increase its data transfer speed. cause thats what we were seeing for past few years BUT Samsung moved forward and put a full stop on the story of microSd card and started a new era of Universal Flash Storage (UFC).

The company just released Removeable UFC cards offering storage capacity of either 32, 64, 128, or 256 gigabytes, and performance speeds that simply blow older formats out of the water.

"READ SPEEDS FIVE TIMES FASTER THAN THE BEST MICROSD CARDS"
According to Samsung, all this power is necessary to keep up with the abundance of high-resolution footage being generated by devices from smartphones to action cams, drones to 360-degree cameras. But while the new UFS standard has appeared as embedded memory in a few devices (notably Samsung's own Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge), there are no products that yet support the cards as removable storage.`

Advantages:

  • Better write speed
  • Less battery consumption
  • Unique

Disadvantages:

  • High Price
  • Less supported devices
  • Might not able to break current standards.

LeEco Raised the Bar

LeEco previously known as LeTV. The company just came last year but already making big changes in mobile world. Setting new standard in mobile world just few weeks back company launched a phone with 6 gb ram LeMax 2. And Now Company just announced that their Next phone LeMax 2 pro will carry 8 gb hard disk. yup, you heard it right More ram than I got in my pc. :/

According to GizChina ,LeTV are rumoured to be working on a new flagship phone with the latest Snapdragon 821 chipset and a huge 8GB RAM!!
It all started when Asus announced the Zenfone 2 with a staggering 4GB RAM, and since then we have seen RAM increase all smartphones to the point that this year LE, ZUK and OnePlus now all have 6GB RAM phones, but soon there could be even more!.
But it’s the rumoured hardware which really has us foaming at the mouth. According to Chinese press, the new LeMax 2 could be one of the first smartphones to launch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, and to top it off, 8GB RAM!!
If those processing specs weren’t enough then the phone is also believed to have a 25 mega-pixel camera on the rear just above a touch fingerprint scanner.

Because of this question rises Do we really need this?

Well the more the better. But i don't think RAM is what today consumer seeks for 4gb or 6gb of RAM was already too much. I don't think world is in a hurry to have a phone with 8 gb of RAM. I think TODAY in this busy world what consumer really seeks for is a phone with a Good battery life. I know many of you will say dash charge or lighting charge is there to compete this problem but Is that enough you still have to charge your phone after every 8-10 hours

I want to see a phone which can actually give 12 hours of SOT (screen on time) and stand by you can assume yourself. You mus be wondering am i an idiot asking for 12 hours of SOT but we live in an age where we can do anything with just a right hand. we can access anything our bank accounts our work wile on move with a Mobile so for something like that asking for a better battery life is understandable than more RAM.
